We should also share a common goal of not wrecking small businesses and communities. The economic damage will cause many people to become vulnerable and even more wealth consolidation.
An important objective is to create or retain jobs in rural areas where jobs are already limited. Vzajemne will help small businesses to reopen without any cost barrier or operational friction. We will proactively implement Vzajemne in as many towns and villages as possible with the help of local ambassadors who can support adoption in their community.
To slow the spread of the Coronavirus, we all need to pursue social distancing practices as much as possible. We all share a common goal of stopping this virus. We should also share a common goal of not wrecking small businesses and communities. The economic damage will cause many people to become vulnerable and even more wealth consolidation.
For Vzajemne to catch on, it not only needs to be supported by all members of the community, but it needs to add value to all. Whatever stage of life someone is at or whatever disabilities they experience, however competent they are with technology, Vzajemne should still be accessible.
Shortly after launching the first version of the app, we will introduce awesome features that will make the app accessible to all. People with mobility, dexterity, hearing, sight or social disabilities should still be able to order comfortably.
The upcoming features will let you order with voice commands instead of typing or searching. Or you can type your order into the application instead of browsing various stores. And for those who just don’t want to interact with the app, they can simply write it down with pen and paper and take a photo of the order.
On-demand delivery services produce significant amounts of waste. As we promote this service, we are actively contributing to the increase in disposable packaging. This waste is something we have to live with for the rest of our lifetime. We don’t want that.
As we help companies launch delivery services, we will introduce them to the most responsible packaging solutions that have been recommended by industry experts. Later, we will find a permanent solution to eliminate waste by reusing packaging.
Vzajemne will not only promote sustainable practices to every partner we onboard, we will also introduce a system of convenience exists so it won’t burden them. We will also make sure vendors do not need to pay for or charge extra to provide sustainable packaging.
As fewer people use public transport or even just take a walk to collect the things they need, the growing demand for deliveries will have an impact on the environment.
We will encourage couriers to use any emission-free delivery vehicle, whether it be a bicycle or sustainably charged scooter, car or van.
We will incentivise couriers with bonuses or support them through grants to assist them in driving fully electric vehicles which are charged by renewable energy, which can be sourced from renewable electricity suppliers such as Elektrinanazaleno.cz.
We don’t want mass-produced food that’s transported thousands of kilometres and relies on unsustainable and questionable mass-farming techniques.
Support food production processes that are simpler, cheaper, healthier, tastier and ultimately create more jobs in the Czech Republic.
Not only can we make it easier for local producers to sell their produce, we can help them to adopt new technology and techniques, such as hydroponic systems and greenhouses.
We believe that local production not only protects the environment from needlessly shipping produce that could otherwise be grown domestically, but it helps local communities and their economies to become more resilient.
Supermarkets cannot deliver everyone in the Czech Republic. We support this change in demand and assure independent stores will be able to serve their communities by selling and delivering their goods via Vzajemne.
We will have supermarkets and local producers work side by side. We can achieve quality, fresh and sustainable food while giving business to local producers and stores without damaging the supermarket chains who play a systemic role in employment, importing and distribution.
Ironically, the bulk of our vision contains old-school business-values. The way things used to be done before corporations and technology created highly convenient solutions for us. But those solutions don’t reach everyone, and many in rural communities are left to struggle. We believe that technology can extend the convenience of the modern supermarket to every person in the Czech Republic.
